MADRE - Museo d’Arte Contemporanea Donnaregina, Naples
360°, a retrospective exhibition dedicated to the work of John Armleder, opens at Museo Madre, Naples on June 23 and will remain on view through September 10, 2018. An opening reception will be held on Friday, June 22 from 7:00pm until 10:00pm.
Curated by Andrea Viliani with Silvia Salvati, 360° will explore the far-reaching contributions of one of contemporary art's acknowledged masters. Beginning with works from the 1960s, it will examine Armleder's career through the present day, including works created specifically for the occasion. His varied output includes drawing, painting, sculpture, installation, performance, video, sound, text, and editorial and curatorial projects, examples of each of which will be represented in the exhibition.
